The year is 2090. Time travel is now no longer a dream, by means of time machines called Interkrons. However, in order not to distort reality, time travelers are expressly forbidden to go to the past, in order to prevent the current day from somehow being disrupted due to changes in earth's past.
You are a member of the Temporal Corps, the body that regulates the use of Interkrons. Vettenmeyer, a lieutenant of the corps violated his oath, travelled back in time, and altered important situations that helped to shape history. You are ordered to give chase and undo the disruption he caused to these historic events.
In order to unravel his sabotage, you will prevent Julius Caesar from getting assassinated (well, earlier than "usual", that is), ensure Drake and Elizabeth meet, help expose a cheating grand vizier, stop Hitler from advancing his blitzkrieg, and more. You can travel to 7 different locations and 10 different times in order to figure out which events you might need to stop, collect things necessary, and how to fix everything.
As much as I'm a fan of Legend adventures and history, Timequest just didn't really seem to appeal or grow on me. Moving through this many locations and times and repeatedly visiting the same places over and over made the game seem very repetitive. At times the puzzles seemed fairly obscure as well.
