In Soko-Ban (which is Japanese for "Warehouse duty") , the player controls Jack, a warehouse manager. Jack is responsible for ensuring that all the boxes in the warehouse are at their designated positions. Unfortunately, other workers have randomly left boxes around the different floors, and you have to figure out how to move them to their rightful place.
Be careful, though, as it's very easy to end up in a position where you corner yourself, or somehow end up getting a box stuck in such a way that it can no longer be moved, meaning you will have to start over. Especially in later levels, it pays off to carefully plan in advance, as one wrong move can mean you have to start over.
The game can be played solo, or against other players, where you will compete on the time spent, as well as the number of moves needed to solve a level.
There are 53 built-in levels, but more can be constructed using the level editor.
