Puzzle Gobliiins I 1

Three goblin friends set out to help their king, who seems to have gone crazy during a recent feast. They encounter the wizard Niak, who tells them that he can help, provided the goblins retrieve three items for him:

• Airain's mushroom
• Arachnide's Elixer
• The Bald Plant

The goblins do so, but then find out the wizard betrayed them and find themselves locked in his dungeon. These goblins promptly escape from a maximum security stockade, and continue their quest to attempt to cure the king.

The player controls the three goblins:

• Asgard the warrior, who can climb and punch objects (called Bobo in the US release).
• Ignatius the Wizard, who can cast powerful spells, but you never know what he'll cast (Hooter in the US release).
• Oups is a technician, and can pick up items and use them (Dwayne in the US release).

The goblins can be controlled one at a time, and it's up to the player to figure out the goal to solve a particular level that will involve using the skills of all 3 of the goblins. This typically involves manipulating parts of the environment, and ensuring the goblins are positioned properly. For instance, you might need to gain an object that is kept by an NPC in the level, or reach a ledge above your head.

Sometimes you might unintentionally reset a puzzle. In that case, you usually can easily re-do all actions, as most levels are not destructive, but instead will allow for a replay.

The three goblins share a single health-bar, and the environment can harm them. This means the player needs to find a way forward without running out of health, or they will have to restart the level (luckily there are level codes available).

Once the player solved the level, they will be able to proceed to the next one.
