Adventure Day Of The Tentacle 1

Following your adventures in Maniac Mansion, Bernard receives a message from Green Tentacle that Purple Tentacle gained superpowers after drinking toxic water, and now intends to take over the world. Dr. Fred found out about the plan, and intends to kill both tentacles.

Bernard and his friends Laverne and Hoagie set the tentacles free. Dr. Fred sees no other remedy than to try and send the friends back to the day of yesterday to prevent Purple Tentacle from drinking the toxic water. However, as it turns out, his cutting corners leads to the time machine malfunctioning. Hoagie ends up 200 years in the past, and Laverne 200 years in the future, where tentacles rule the world.

Luckily you can send items back and forth through the time machine, but you will have to figure out how to get both your friends back to present time, and then find a way to stop Purple Tentacle from mutating. By switching between the different characters, you are able to manipulate things in the past, present and future, which will have effects in other times.
