Adventure Altered Destiny 1

P.J. Barrett was just about to enjoy a nice quiet evening watching TV with his girlfriend when he finds himself sucked through the screen. Unbeknown to him, a mix-up at the repair shop means he ended up with a magical TV.

A mysterious being called JonQuah explains he intended to summon a barbarian to whom the TV originally belonged, but P.J. will have to suffice. JonQuah's evil brother Helmar is threatening the very core of the universe, and P.J. is tasked to go recover the Jewel of Light from Helmar.

P.J. finds himself alone on a strange planet. Can you help him make his way through this world and save the Jewel of Light?


Control of P.J. within the game can be done with the arrow keys or the mouse, though the latter might get fickle at times. Be sure to save often, as there are plenty of ways to die, and falling down is one of the more frequent ones. At times it gets terrible (looking at you, canyon screens) due to the game exiting a screen before you expect, and your last key stroke instantly making you die in the next. Top that with lengthy un-interruptible animations, and this can make for a frustrating experience.
